[ad_1]

New Pokemon Snap gameplay revealed new features including tools, photo editing, and more. Photos can be rated by other players online and even submitted by developers. The AI score for shots has been shown to be evaluated based on pose, size, direction, placement, other Pokémon, and background, awarding both a point score and one star rating. The photos will apparently also be used to populate a Pokemon Photodex.

There are also new tools in the form of Illumina Orbs, items that can make Pokemon glow and modify their elemental effects – likely for higher photo scores. We also see fruit thrown and melodies played to elicit new Pokemon gestures.

The story of the game isn’t entirely clear, but we do see the mythical Pokemon Celebi drop by at the end of the new trailer. The new Pokemon Snap will be released on April 30.
