Nintendo announced New Pokemon Snap in June 2020 and posted images of the game as recently like last month. But during Friday Pokemon presents the livestream, we got a closer look at the game.
The game includes 200 Pokémon from eight generations of games. It’s been a long time for fans of the series – the first Pokemon Snap stores hit in 1999, and fans have been clamoring for a sequel for nearly 22 long years.
The new Pokemon Snap hits stores April 30 for Nintendo Switch.
With the trailer, the revelations of Pokemon Shiny Diamond and Shiny Pearl, remakes of Nintendo DS 2007 games, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The livestream took place a day before the 25th anniversary of the original Pokemon Red and Green release in Japan, which is marked with a Post Malone virtual concert.
