A new issue in Pokemon Unite is being exploited by some players, causing others to stop playing Ranked Matches until it is fixed.

The Lucario bug in Pokémon United was highlighted by Redditor xumei, and it takes advantage of the special extreme speed movement. When another button is used at the same time, it triggers the bug, which causes a lot of damage to enemy players. Extreme Speed’s ability to instantly recharge if it hits a different Pokémon with each use makes the problem even more devastating. This means that entire squads can be wiped out in a matter of moments. Add to that the ease of accidentally activating the bug, which means those unaware of the exploit can still use it regularly, which is understandably frustrating for those who play competitively in ranked mode.
Unlike the Crustle Unite Move issue that developer TiMi Studios assured fans it will be fixed in the next update, there is no indication that the developer is even aware of the Lucario bug, let alone when it gets fixed. While they may take a chance, with that comes an increased risk of losing their rank when playing against someone who exploits the glitch, accidentally or not.
Some fans have criticized TiMi Studios for not removing Lucario and Crustle from Ranked Matches despite being clearly bugged, pointing out that this practice is common in other MOBA titles like To hit. The extended wait time for known bug fixes and the frequent occurrence of serious issues cause a lot of frustration in the community.
