New rumor suggests Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming to PC and PS5 simultaneously

[ad_1]

A new rumor surfaced last week regarding the supposed PC version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. According to KatharsisT, a member of Resetera, who is a wellKnown on the run, Square Enix plans to announce and release the PC version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, alongside the PS5 version, in 2021.

As KatharsisT writes:

“I just know that SE plans to announce the PS5 version along with the PC version this year.”

It fits with everything we’ve heard about Final Fantasy 7 Remake PC so far, which is why we’re releasing it. In December 2019, Square Enix and Sony hinted at an exclusive timed deal regarding Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Then, in January 2020, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake demo leaked PC code. The game demo referred to AMD, NVIDIA and higher resolutions. And in April 2020, the official trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake included some PC gameplay footage.

This obviously does not surprise us. Nonetheless, we wonder if Square Enix will add Ray Tracing and DLSS support in the PC version. Final Fantasy XV supported DLSS, so that’s a possibility.

Stay tuned for more!
