New rumors about the New England Patriots: Jason McCourty must go back on his two-year contract

The McCourty twins will have at least another year together on the same team.

According to several reports, Jason McCourty will return to the Patriots for a two-year contract. The cornerback won the Super Bowl in his first season with the Patriots and his first match with his twin brother Devin. This decision was not a big surprise given the quality of his fit last year, but given his experience, he sparked some interest across the league.

Jason played 16 games last year and finished with 70 tackles and one interception. The next season will be his 11th season in the NFL.

After Eric Rowe left for Miami, the Patriots had to make sure of the depth of the position, and that was what they needed. In addition to Jason, the Patriots have Stephon Gilmore, J.C. Jackson, Jonathan Jones, Duke Dawson and Keion Crossen around the corner.

Jason will be 32 years old at the start of the season and Devin will be a free agent after this season.
