Epic Games announced via the game's message of the day on all platforms that a new item was coming soon on Fortnite – the shadow bomb!
After a leak following the v8.50 patch, the Shadow Bomb was officially announced with a release date scheduled for the week of April 30.
The name and description imply that the ghost bomb will function in the same way as the ghost stones seen during the previous Fortnite seasons, although this has not been 100% confirmed at the time of writing.

Although an official release date has not yet been announced, we know that the v8.50 content update is scheduled for the week of April 30th. It is likely that the update will be released on Tuesday, April 30 or Wednesday, May 1.
Thanks to the other assets that have fled, we know that the ghost bomb can be included in the challenges of season 8, week 10.
