The last character to join the roster Skullgirls 2nd Again will be Annie of the stars. Although it was previously announced that she would join the roster at some point in 2021, the Hidden Variable developers have reduced this release window. Annie of the Stars will appear in Skullgirls 2nd Again early 2021. Along with this trailer, Hidden Zero teased a new upcoming character Skullgirls 2nd Again.
Annie will first be available through the Steam client on PC for early access. Once the developers make enough changes to be happy with the character, the announcement of the full release of the DLC on other platforms will follow. You can watch the trailer below.
Additionally, the developers have confirmed that another character will join Skullgirls 2nd Again. At the end of the Annie of the Stars trailer, viewers received confirmation that another character is currently in the works. The official Hidden Variable forum post mentions that more information about this brand new character will emerge in the future. Along with this, the official forum posts links to three images and encourages users to speculate on who or what this new addition might be.
Skullgirls 2nd Again is available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
