The wait is finally over: Tool has launched its first new music in more than ten years.

As part of their main program at Welcome to Rockville in Jacksonville on Sunday night, the group performed two new songs: "Descending" and "Invincible". Look at the images captured by the fans below.

It should be noted that Tool has already presented an instrumental version of "Descending" in concert. However, their set Welcome to Rockville marks the first performance of the completed song with the words and voice of singer Maynard's singer James Keenan.

We can assume that "Descending" and "Invincible" are from the long-awaited new album of Tool, the band's first since 2006. 10,000 days. Keenan had previously said that the album, which still had no title, should arrive "between mid-May and mid-July" this year.

Welcome to Rockville marked the beginning of Tool's latest US tour, which runs until mid-May. You can enter to win tickets for the concert of your choice. They are also available for purchase here.
