New Surface hardware likely to debut at Microsoft event on September 22

Windows 11 will be released on October 5, but that’s not the only thing Microsoft has in store for this fall. The company will live-stream an event at 11:00 am EST on September 22, where it promises to “talk about devices and Windows 11.” Microsoft wasn’t specific on what types of devices it planned to reveal, but the looping video on the event site shows a Surface tablet, so it’s not hard to guess. (Before you get too excited, it looks like a Surface Pro X, not a preview of an unannounced product.)

Without further details on what types of hardware Microsoft intends to focus on, all we can do is speculate.
