New switch updated now, adds features and fixes major bug

[ad_1]

The latest firmware update for Nintendo Switch has arrived and includes a number of new features, changes, modifications and patches. Version 9.0.0 (released Sept. 9) introduces a new search feature for the News channel, a new QR code option to connect to your Nintendo account and new touch screen sensitivity settings. The update also introduces the ability to prevent the switch from recognizing console button inputs, except for the Capture and Home buttons. This only concerns the brand new Switch Lite.

In addition, the new update of Switch 9.0.0 adds a section to the account pages for "online play invitations" and, as its name indicates, you will see friends invitations. for supported games. Finally, the new patch resolves what appears to be a very serious problem. Apparently, there was a bug that completely prevented Fire Emblem: Three Houses from booting, but returned an error. This problem has been resolved with the update through general system improvements and stability, said Nintendo.

This problem would have apparently affected those who bought the Three Houses season pass recently, although we know how widespread the problem is or if something else could trigger it. Whatever it is, it is corrected now.

You can see the release notes for the full 9.0.0 version below, published on the Nintendo website.
