Denyupcoming remaster – officially titled Deny Replicant ver. 1.22474487139… – has a new trailer extended ahead of the game’s April 23 launch on PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One.
The trailer is in Japanese, so it’s for hardcore Deny fans (is there any other type?), but even if you don’t have a good grasp of the language, the trailer features the cutscenes, combat, and game world design. Toylogic is taking on the remaster project for it. publisher Square Enix.
Chris Plante, Polygon resident Deny obsessive, noted in December that “the look and feel of Nier’s games kept a bunch of potential fans from stepping out of the Nier universe.” So the remastered Deny Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 … has the ability to “break down that barrier with a more visually extravagant and mechanically welcoming experience.”
Deny launched in April 2010 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360; his suite, Nier: Automata, was developed by PlatinumGames and launched in 2017.
