Sometimes it's good when a movie puts you in mind, but even what's happening on the screen is not necessarily the best thing about flooring. That's how I felt watching some movies over the past week. Funny ha ha and Mutual appreciation, a pair of the first (and only, really) Mumblecore movies.
I love both movies, but it's a lot … quite boring, because of the nature of their type of film. People talk, stammer, uh and uh. Plots are non-existent, goals are aimless. I love the atmosphere, but it's easy to get disconnected and let your mind wander around while conversations get bored.
At the same time, it is also what is wonderful in them. There is a very unique feeling of spying on some friends lying around, talking about nothing in particular. You can ignore it, or you can be absorbed and dream to yourself. (P.S.) I highly recommend this interview Vox with director Andrew Bujalski about his early films.)

Disney released the first full trailer Frozen 2 this week, teases a movie that seems to balance a tone much darker than the original with a sense of adventure still very big and impressive. He leaves on November 22nd.

Let's say that Batman is too expensive for a character to get the rights, but you still want a Batman series. What are you doing instead? Make a show on the butler, I guess. Dead earnest Pennyworth This sounds like a surprisingly fun fallout with the ambiance of a classic action movie. It starts July 28th on Epix.
Official secrets
Keira Knightley interprets Katharine Gun, a GCHQ translator who leaked information in 2003 about a US plan to trap UN diplomats who supported the invasion of Iraq. The film may sound a little too dramatic, but I think Keira Knightley is playing a character from the current century. He leaves on August 30th.
Succession
I do not stop hearing people raving Successionand although I suspect that many choked whites are upset in conference rooms and dinners, everyoneThe idea of an exciting show, I'll admit it's pretty good. The show returns on August 11th.
Late at night
Amazon has released a latest trailer for Late at nightMindy Kaling's success at Sundance makes her play a new recruit in a room reserved for writers late at night, with the goal of making things happen. The film will be released in theaters this weekend. it will eventually be released on Amazon, but probably not before the end of the year.
Dark
Another scary teaser for Netflix Dark. I have not seen the show so I'm not quite sure what's going on, but I love the look of everything here. The show returns on June 21st.
