I finally finished Ted lasso last night and I understand why everyone liked it so much. I was totally prepared to dislike the serious and goofy Ted, but Jason Sudeikis convinced me. I won’t spoil in case you haven’t seen it, but Ted lasso has a lot of plot developments that you’d expect to play out a certain way – because we’ve been conditioned to have plotlines for as long as possible and with as much unnecessary drama as possible – but then the characters behave like real people! They’re smart, funny, and nuanced and I can’t wait to see them again in Season 2.

The trailer for the long-awaited film about the showdown between Kong and Godzilla – which has been postponed for a year due to the coronavirus pandemic – is finally here and it looks very awesome, with lots of roars, punches, and explosions. I thought I recognized Vanessa Kirby (Princess Margaret in Seasons 1 and 2 of The crown) in this trailer (I did it!). It’s a two-woman romance that takes place in the United States in the 1800s.
