There was a lot of big news streaming service this week. First, Apple has announced a rate and launch date for Apple TV Plus: $ 4.99 per month, starting November 1st. Then Disney has launched a free Disney + pilot in the Netherlands, offering a ton of detail on how all this will work. It looks surprisingly robust for a service that will not be available for two months, while it will be launched at $ 6.99 a month.
Apple has decided to get paid by Disney, especially given the wealth and richness of Disney's catalog (his classic musicals Star warsand most MCU movies) compared to Apple's nascent movie (you can count the release titles on both hands). I do not know how many people will be willing to pay Apple, even with the price as low for such a small selection of shows, but Apple has made another very wise decision: give everyone who buys new equipment a year of access free.
This year of free access could attract a lot of people. This means that Apple TV Plus's moment of judgment may not have been launched yet, but next year we'll see if the service is worth it, once millions of free subscribers will have to pay.

I really want this show to be great, and a lot of things in this trailer look rightfully cool. But a few are turning quickly to me now … I'm still not sure what this series will be regularly or the story she's trying to tell. It starts on October 20th.

The director of The witch comes back with another amazingly shot horror movie that has an atmosphere unlike any other horror movies out there right now. It sounds uncomfortable and mysterious, but also mysterious and punctuated with a classic Hollywood style. The film is released on October 18th.
Modern love
Amazon had a ton of big stars on board for Modern love, an adaptation of some selected pieces of The New York TimesSeries on stories of charming and heartbreaking relationships. He leaves on October 18th.
Limetown
I'm not sure anyone is watching the Facebook Watch series, but if you do, you'll soon see a familiar property appear: Limetown, which is being adapted from the popular fiction podcast to a televised thriller. He made his debut on October 16th.
See
See is clearly supposed to be the crack of Apple at a The iron Thronegreat and exciting level. Unfortunately … it sounds like a long series of zany tropes so far, and I'm not convinced that the series will sensitively handle its description of blindness and its universally blind culture. The show starts on November 1st.
63 at the top
Every seven years, the up The series visited a group of about a dozen Britons since the age of seven, describing how their lives and personalities have changed over time. I have never seen it, but I find the idea very beautiful. 63 at the top is the ninth installment. He has already been out in the UK, but is going to the United States as of November 27th.
Portrait of a lady on fire
In addition to just having a very cool name, Portrait of a lady on fire has received incredible reviews and praise from the festivals. IndieWire even put the film on its list of the best of the decade. We will see it on December 6th.
