New Windows 10 update fixes issue where some printers were crashing computers

[ad_1]

Microsoft fixes the following issue that trying to use certain printers would scare your Windows 10 computer and cause it to appear on a blue screen. If you (or your IT department) experienced the issue, today’s update should allow you to resume printing.

In the release notes, Microsoft says the issue only affected “some printers that use certain applications”, but does not specify which ones. This seemed to impact some printers from Kyocera, Ricoh, and Zebra, and if you had one, this is the type of error that would be extremely annoying – or worse, break the workflow, if printing is a problem. need and not something you do occasionally.

If this issue affects you, you can download the update by going to Settings> Update & security> Windows Update, and then clicking Check for updates. Hope after the update your printer and computer can be friends again. May the ink meet the paper again and your computer does not have to be restarted after a sudden crash.
