The New World Open Beta will run from September 9 to 12, Amazon Games has announced.
The MMO will launch on September 28.

Digging into the details, the New World Open Beta uses Steam’s new game testing functionality, with servers available in North America, Europe, Australia, and South America. It will start at 3 p.m. UK time on September 9 and end at 8 a.m. UK time on September 12.
“Open beta is an important test for our server infrastructure and will offer higher server capacity than closed beta, but will not represent the full server capacity available at launch,” said Amazon Games. “Players may experience wait times during the open beta test.”
There will be a progress erase between open beta and launch, Amazon Games has warned.
