In a statement to Fox News, Cini claimed that the bartender's wife in the video was the one who had wanted it, and that it was she who had instructed the bartender to dismiss Cini, from which he had begun to record. In addition to Facebook's statement, the co-owner of Jake's dilemma told Gothamist that, although the bartender was suspended before returning to work, Cini had initiated the altercation.
