New York Giants in Seattle Seahawks Madden 21 Sim

Do the New York Giants have what it takes to continue their winning streak? With playoff possibilities at stake, the Giants travel to Seattle to take on a talented Seahawks team.

As we do every week, we simulated the game in Madden 21, to determine what the outcome might be. So far this year, Madden has correctly predicted nine of the Giants’ 11 games.

The first and second half of this contest were polar opposites. Scores and quick production were high for the first two quarters, starting with a 50+ yard touchdown by Chris Carson. The halftime score weighed heavily in Seattle’s favor at 14-3.

Both defenses rose to the challenge for the second half of that game, limiting the overall score to three points until the final 30 seconds. Just as things looked bleak for New York, Colt McCoy left the offense on a final second-second goal with a 14-6 retreat.

After a connection with Darius Slayton, all the Giants needed was a 2-point conversion to tie the game. Unfortunately, McCoy was stopped before the end zone while coming out of the pocket. The final score was 14-12.

Seahawks running back Chris Carson had the best day, finishing with 114 yards and one point. Wayne Gallman finished with a 51-yard, 70-yard rush for the day.

Given the two teams’ affinity for running football lately, a defensive and rushed battle seems plausible. But will that be how the game plays out?
