New York Giants set to pitch Colt McCoy against Seattle Seahawks

When the New York Giants travel to Seattle to face the Seahawks on Sunday, they look set to lose a major chunk. After being limited to training all week due to a hamstring injury, quarterback Daniel Jones was declared doubtful for their Week 13 game in Seattle.

Jones left New York’s victory over the Bengals last week and did not return, Colt McCoy ending the game in his place. McCoy is now in the line to start against the Seahawks – but not for the first time, as our own Mookie Alexander noted.

That’s right, McCoy was the Browns starter in Seattle’s infamous 6-3 loss (and we the people) suffered in Cleveland in 2011, when Charlie Whitehurst and McCoy combined for 275 passing yards.

With Russell Wilson on the other side this time around, it should be a different story for at least one of the two offenses involved when the Seahawks host the Giants on Sunday.
