New York Islanders at the Edmonton Oilers

The New York Islanders will be trying to share their brief stay in Alberta as they play their second and final game in the province tonight against the Edmonton Oilers. The Islanders hesitated last night against the Calgary Flames, a game that everyone, including Barry Trotz, said deserved to lose. They lost by a score of four to two in a rare match out of the team. They will try again tonight against a team of Oilers considerably worse.

Robin Lehner should start in the return leg. Thomas Greiss will have the backup tasks. They will face former Islanders goalkeeper Mikko Koskinen.

Changes have not been announced for tonight's game, but there is an illness in the locker room and there may be some. Thomas Hickey and Andrew Ladd will not be activated outside of LTIR, so this would attract one or more members among Ross Johnston, Michael Dal Colle or Luca Sbisa in one way or another.

The game time is at 21:00. IS.
