A normal grocery store visit turned into a nightmare for a New Yorker after returning to her vehicle to find a corpse in the bed of her truck.
Officers from the Niagara County Sheriff's Office were called to a Tops supermarket on Lockport Road on Friday after an unidentified woman found a man's body in his truck.

According to police, she reportedly left Wayne County and moved to Newfane City to go to the supermarket. When she finished shopping, she opened her hatchback to store her errands and "noticed the dead male in bed".
She was unable to identify the man, whom the police described as a Hispanic man in his forties or fifties, reported the WNBC.

The man was taken to the Erie County Medical Center for an autopsy. The police did not disclose any cause of death or any details surrounding the discovery of the body.
