NEW YORK (WABC) – Another winter storm is expected to bring a new blanket of white to New York, New Jersey and other parts of the Tri-State.

A winter storm warning has been issued for parts of New Jersey. A winter weather advisory has been issued for New York, Long Island and other areas near the city.

Snow is expected to start around dawn or just before Thursday.

Moderate to heavy snowfall is expected during the first part of the storm through noon Thursday. Snowfall of 1 to 2 inches per hour is possible.

There is the potential for a very snowy and difficult morning walk Thursday morning as the roads will get slippery in a hurry.
