New York woman said she felt like she was attacked by animals after a group of men approached her in Harlem, biting her face and breaking her skin, according to NBC New York .

The 31-year-old, who has not been publicly identified, was also beaten, spat and robbed in the attack, which took place near a liquor store in the Manhattan neighborhood, reported NBC New York.

As she stopped by a West Harlem liquor store around 6 p.m. on Monday, the woman said the men offered to buy her a bottle of wine, but she politely declined.

Video shared by NYPD shows the men surrounding her outside the store, where she says they assaulted her.

“I couldn’t believe it, it was like an animal. That’s the only way I can tell, it was like an animal,” the woman told NBC New York.

During the attack, while she was bitten and spat, someone stole her $ 750 phone.

“I just remember screaming at the top of my lungs, I kept saying ‘He bites me! He bites me! “she said.” He bit my eyebrow and then he just kept on, he kept opening his mouth to try and pull me together. “

Since the attack, the woman told NBC New York that her thoughts were no longer “normal thoughts.”

“It was like they wanted to degrade me, spitting on me and kicking me,” she said.

There is currently a reward of $ 2,500 for information leading to the arrest of the woman’s attackers.
