Newsmax host Greg Kelly struggled to cope with Joe Biden’s formal nomination as president on Wednesday. So much so that he essentially wished America failure.

Throughout President Biden’s inauguration day, the right-wing media struggled to cope with the end of Donald Trump’s presidency. After praising Trump’s “gracious” exit from the White House – Trump skipped the inauguration after inciting an insurgent riot – One America News, for example, virtually ignored Biden’s swearing-in.

Newsmax, meanwhile, took a different path. In addition to effusively congratulating the outgoing president, they described Biden’s widely praised inaugural address, which focused on the unity and repair of the nation, as “dark” and “divisive.” And in prime time, they followed the lead of competitor Fox News by ignoring Biden’s inaugural “Celebrating America” concert.

This is where Kelly came in.

The former Fox News personality, who helped Newsmax lure disgruntled Trump supporters by gleefully peddling election denial, began his program Wednesday night openly hoping that Biden will not succeed in the presidency.

“What do you think of Joe Biden? He’s the President of the United States, ”Kelly grumbled. “It’s normal, ladies and gentlemen, to say that you don’t want the president to succeed.

Making sure his viewers knew he wished Biden “no harm” and, after a brief hiatus, he “wants him to be healthy and happy in his life,” Kelly went on to explain why he wanted that the new president fails.

“I don’t wish Joe Biden any success,” he said, adding that he didn’t want Biden to sign the Paris climate agreement or nuclear deals with Iran.

“So it’s actually okay to say you don’t want to see Joe Biden succeed,” Kelly continued with his rationale. “Do not forget that he is the head of the executive power. Okay? And we have three branches and they are all equal. It’s enough? It’s enough.”

Kelly, at the very least, now acknowledges Biden as the president, which is a major step forward for the Trumpian host. Even after his network – which initially refused to acknowledge Biden’s election victory – finally admitted that Biden was president-elect after the Dec. 14 Electoral College vote, Kelly continued to have hope.

In addition to repeating repeatedly that he did not “personally feel” that Biden was the President-elect, Kelly kept convincing himself (and his audience) that “it is not over” and that futile prosecutions. President could reverse Biden’s decisive victory, even telling Trump not to back down. seditious riots.
