Artem Sitak and his Indian partner Divij Sharan advanced to the second round of doubles at Wimbledon.
He and Sharan defeated Radu Albot of Moldova and Tunisian Malek Jaziri 7-6 6-7 6-3 6-2 in two hours 41 minutes
Sitak and Sharan were against two players who put more pressure on Focus on their singles and used their superior double knowledge to play the angles and outsmart their opponents.
Played on Small Court 10, Sitak and Sharan came close to making a breakthrough in the first set and even had a fixed point when their opponents were serving a 4-5, but Sitak could not control the serve at his right hit.

In the tie -break, it was Sitak and Sharan who had regular noses in front and they finally won 7-4
Sitak and Sharan had two set points, but Albot and Jaziri tied the match by taking their third set point to win 10-8.
A pause occurred at the beginning of the third set for Sitak and Sharan. they were able to hang on and once they broke Jaziri's service midway through the fourth set, the fight came out of their opponents.
