A police diploma got a nice surprise in the form of a marriage proposal.
78 new police officers in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand, completed their training through a graduation ceremony last week.

When Judd appeared in the crowd, Meechan sank on his knees and offered. Judd immediately said yes and the crowd applauded.
As Meechan later told the New Zealand Herald, he had struggled for a whole month to find out whether or not he should propose to the event. He did not make the decision until a few days ago
"I was not 100% sure for a few days, we had her ring customized and she arrived the day before, so she was very well cut."
Meechan decided to do it at the graduation ceremony because he wanted the moment to be "a little special, a little different."
