Rocket Lab, a Silicon Valley-funded space launch company based in New Zealand, is looking for a new launch site for its Electron rocket and is targeting the United States.
Aerospace start-up The only private orbital launch platform on the Mahia Peninsula in northwestern New Zealand reduced its selection to four sites on the east and west coasts, and In Alaska. Rocket Lab has already successfully launched two test flights of its battery powered Electron rockets and partially printed in 3D One in May 2017 and the other in January 2018. However, his first trade mission – the ridiculously named flight "It's Business Time" – was delayed from the late June when he discovered a problem with the launcher engine. He will soon schedule a new launch window for the mission.
