Carnival Cruise Line launches a completely redesigned version of its Searching for a travel agent. The updated tool has been redesigned to be more user-friendly and provide improved information about each agency, as well as to view more agencies to help consumers find a local travel professional in the Carnival network.
During the first phase of the redesign, which is complete, the page aspect has been updated to correspond to the cruise company's main site, www.carnival.com. In addition, he is now using Google Maps display agency locations, providing a level of detail and accuracy beyond what was possible before.
The user experience is improved by displaying search results on the universally known Google Maps platform. In addition, users can enter search criteria in addition to a zip code to produce more accurate results when searching for a travel agent.
These results provide more information about each agency, including its phone number, email address and a link to a website, if any. From the point of view of travel agents, the features have been improved to generate more agencies in the results.
The second phase of the redesign is expected to be completed in the spring of 2019. The next upgrade will allow home travel agency owners to add their information to the system. Users will be able to see the locations of home-based agencies displayed on Google Maps if they adhere to the program.
Carnival Cruise Line operates 26 vessels offering trips of 3 to 24 days to Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexican Riviera, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, New England, Bermuda, Cuba, Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and South East Asia.
