Fortnite: Epic Games Announces Refund Due to Price Error in Battle Pass Pack

[ad_1]

Epic Games, the developers of Fortnite, revealed that they had made a mistake in determining the price of the 10-Tier Battle Pass pack and that they would rectify the problem.

If you are one of the players who bought the Battle Pass 10-Tier bundle on Monday night before v6.31 update on Tuesday, November 27th, there is a good chance you will get a partial refund.

This is due to an error on the part of the developers, who announced that the price was to go from 900 V-Bucks to 600 V-Bucks at 19h on November 26 (we do not know exactly what time zone, though).

"Hey everyone," wrote 'JustMooney1', an Epic Games community leader, on Reddit. "We messed up store turnover and the 10-Tier Battle Pass pack should have cost 600 V-Bucks at 7 pm on 11/26 instead of going from 900 V-Bucks this morning to v6.31.

If you belong to this category, you should receive 300 V-Bucks refunded to your account and spend them for other items: "We will give the difference of 300 V-Buck to those who bought during this period. "

V-Bucks are the currency used in Fortnite.

The wording of the ad suggests that the refund will be automatic for anyone who purchased the pack during the period in question, so you should not have to worry about having to ask for anything.

If you do not know what to spend with your 300 V-Bucks, the Gifting system is finally operational since the November 27 update. This means that you could buy a friend something nice for Christmas …

Or keep it and spend it on yourself as we wish!
