The staff of the finance firm puts the actor in wage conflict

The cutouts of actor Alec Baldwin were dragged through the streets of Auckland on Tuesday as Latitude Finance staff protested against a payout offer from their employer.

Latitude is the provider of the Visa Gem card, which Baldwin presents with the slogan "You Can Do Better".

Sixty call center workers demonstrated in the streets against a breakdown in wage bargaining and drew attention to what they said was the 30 rocks star's pay – $ 1 million for five hours of advertising shooting.

Baldwin is also famous for posing as Donald Trump.

First Union said that in his opinion, a 3% salary increase for call center staff was insufficient.

Kate Davis, retail trade organizer, said that when workers left the call center, company representatives wanted to confiscate their cutting.

One of the protesters' signs read as follows: "If Alec Baldwin receives $ 1 million for five hours of work, you can afford to spend more."

She stated that the customer support staff had unique skills that were not recognized by their employer.

"These workers struggle to make ends meet as the cost of living in Auckland increases, and the pay of their hard work does not reflect that."
