A dead, trapped in separate accidents in the Waikato

There is a serious crash on SH1 between Tamatea Rd and West Rd in South Waikato.

One person died after an accident between a truck and a car on State Highway 1 north of Tokoroa

This was not the only accident that affected Waikato drivers. Police were summoned to the Tokoroa scene between the Tamatea and West roads around 4:35 pm Thursday, a police spokesman said in a statement

. Tokoroa attended the scene. Another person had moderate injuries.

The road is closed and detours are in place

And during the second accident, the emergency services witnessed an accident of two trucks on the Kakaramea road south of Whatawhata.

A truck was in a paddock Opposite, a spokesman for the police said.
