Ubisoft unveiled the list of its initial gaming lineup for its next UPlay Plus PC gaming service before its launch on September 3rd, with a surprisingly comprehensive lineup of titles aimed at leveraging Ubisoft's largest franchises, such as Assassin's Creed, Far cry, and the seemingly endless number of Tom Clancy games.
To this end, among the more than 100 titles offered by Ubisoft is what looks like all Assassin's Creed game never released on PC, most Far cry series, and more. In particular, it is not only the previous catalog: recent versions such as Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Far Cry: New Dawn are on the list, too.
In addition, titles like: Gods & Monsters, Rainbow Six Quarantine, and Watchdogs: Legion, Although it is difficult to know if these games will be available immediately after their release or if there will be some kind of waiting time before the UPlay Plus players can access them.
Ubisoft also announces that the service will include 40 "premium editions" of games shipped with downloadable content and extensions – although Ubisoft notes in the fine print that some "Deluxe / Gold / Ultimate" editions included in UPlay Plus "may "not include all premium content", so we will wait and see what is actually proposed here.
The company also notes that the exact game list and editions of each game is subject to change, and recommends checking its list here to see what will be available in each local region.
The biggest question, though, is whether it's all worth $ 14.99 a month – a fairly expensive price compared to EA / Origin Access, which costs only $ 4.99 a month and $ 29.99 a year , or the Microsoft Xbox Game Pass, which costs $ 9.99, but includes both console and PC games.
