The developer offers fans $ 5 in play currency after misrepresenting a $ 200 Power Armor edition

The troubled release of Fallout 76 continues to worsen as fans turn to Bethesda for falsely announcing the ultimate collector's edition.

Among other things, Fallout 76's $ 200 Power Armor edition promised a military-style canvas bag that, on delivery, was made of nylon.

Bethesda responded to the complaints by offering players a value of € 5 in game currency, a move that fans felt so hollow that it seems to have compounded the problem.

Although Bethesda has since changed the description of the Power Armor Edition to indicate that the bag is made of nylon, the image is still that of a canvas bag.

In a post on the Fallout Twitter Account, the developer apologized and encouraged players to contact Bethesda support.

"We understand and respect the fact that the power armor edition bag is disappointing," he said. "We are sorry."

Fallout 76 has been criticized by many critics. Wesley Yin-Poole of Eurogamer has described it as "stultifying to the extreme".

Bethesda also attracted the attention of Washington-based law firm Migliaccio & Rathod, which opened an investigation into the company's refund policy.
