Bethesda seems to have cheated on his most invested fans with the Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition – KitGuru

Bethesda has had to deal with some very unhappy fans lately. Not only are many players unhappy with the state of Fallout 76, but those who have screamed for the Collector's Edition are receiving substandard items than originally promised. Bethesda's reaction to the situation did not necessarily help to calm things down either.

In the preparation for Fallout 76, Bethesda announced a $ 200 Power Armor Edition, featuring a Vault-Tec helmet, a quality canvas bag, a physical world map, a steel case with the game and a few others. goodies. Those who have ordered one are beginning to receive one, but the "canvas bag" is actually a low quality, cheap nylon bag that seems to be used to line a basket. This is significantly worse than the bag displayed on the promotional images of the Power Armor edition. Fans have started contacting Bethesda support for answers.

Unfortunately, Bethesda's initial response has only made things worse. A member of the support team attempted to explain to a client that the canvas bag was "too expensive" to be produced. A nylon bag was included. The bag presented in the advertisements for the collector's edition was "a prototype". The initial response was completed by a member of the support team stating that Bethesda had not intended to remedy the situation.

Of course, this only made the situation worse. The default support response was then modified to become a somewhat less damaging element, with the support representatives now stating that the bag had to be changed due to "hardware unavailability". This does not solve the situation completely yet, because we finally lied to those who spent $ 200.

Bethesda Game Studios has now published its own response to the controversy by offering owners of the Power Armor Edition a free Atom pack. If you can provide proof of purchase, you will get 500 atoms, which, ironically, is not enough to buy a canvas bag in the game for your character because it costs 700.

KitGuru says: The launch of Fallout 76 was marked by bad public relations for Bethesda. In my opinion, this is probably the worst offense that the most invested fans have lied to and the excuses presented do not even compensate for the loss of value.
