Radical changes in the bus system of the capital have pushed some commuters to vent their frustration at delays

The Wairarapa Transit bus company took over the contract for most of Wellington's bus lines on Sunday, but its first real test took place during the morning commute.

And there were some problems. The buses were late, others did not show up at all.

Real-time tracking did not work as expected either. The Metlink bus network company said that it was dealing with startup issues.
