Tyrone Roberts opened his doors this week as a hotel concierge, but will soon be hitting the Titans' door to claim a half-time spot alongside his close friend, Ash Taylor.
Roberts, one of the 31 Titan players working this week on behalf of Gold Coast, has played 23 games in the Super League as a starting midfielder to bring Warrington to the Super League Super Final against Wigan and also participated in the decisive match of the Challenge Challenge against Catalan Dragons. , lose both.
The 27-year-old was released from the last two years of his contract with Warrington for family reasons to return to the Gold Coast, where he played 41 games of the NRL in 2016 and 2017, most at five eighths.

Roberts' move into the Super League has uncovered the creative side of his game, a valuable addition to his rugby league and game management abilities, which will help relieve Taylor of his role as lead player.
"We want to build our relationship and become stronger and our goals are to qualify for the semi-finals and the grand final," he said.
"I want to try to get the best of Ash and get him where he needs to be.
"[Super League] it's more fluid and there's not a lot of structure, so it's like going back to the yard and doing what we've grown up doing.
"We had a good season with a good group of guys in Warrington, we lost two big finals and it was heartbreaking but now I'm ready to play for the Gold Coast Titans."
Roberts was in rehab after being torn ligaments under the big toe, an injury known as turf toe, but said he hoped to be back in the race next week after learning that it would not require surgery.
As a young footballer, he worked on a construction site in the off-season with several former classmates. His job this week has therefore brought him out of his comfort zone.
"It was great," he said.
"I'm not usually behind a desk, I'm an outsider, but it's been a revelation. [guests] and see all the wonderful people who enter the QT. "
