Congestion eases after delays soon after failure in Waterview Tunnel

A vehicle failure in the Waterview Tunnel caused significant but somewhat brief delays for motorists this morning.

The NZ transport agency reported that a car was blocking a southbound lane in the tunnel shortly before 8am

up to Rosebank Street, Avondale, at a point
