Forty firefighters from eight fire stations attend a fire at the Sleepyhead factory in Ōtāhuhu (file photo).

Forty firefighters on the other side of Auckland fight at the Sleepyhead factory in Ōtāhuhu, which broke out in a silo.

A spokesman for Fire and Emergency said teams responded within three minutes to the fire, which was "fantastic."

Paul Radden, manager of Northern Communications Quarters, said that an alarm had been triggered at 9:13 pm Thursday, followed by an 111 call.
