More than 100 people were tattooed half a point on themselves at Brothers Ink Saturday – raising money and raising awareness about mental health.
They lined up around the block for a semicolon.
People stood in front of the Taranaki Ink brothers all day Saturday for a tattoo that took two minutes to apply, while others were diverted
The salon saw more than 100 naked people for a semi-colonic tattoo, a symbol now linked to mental health, and in doing so he raised more than $ 5,000 to support young children at risk.
Apprentice tattooist Gary Wood said the tattoo meant a break and reminded people that "life will continue"

They raised $ 5750, but kept $ 500 – $ 10 from each tattoo of $ 50 – to pay for the disposable equipment. They all tattooed 107 people.
Martin said that he had never seen so many people in a day, or his studio, before.
"It was a very successful day," said Martin
. The local organization that they supported called Starfish and focuses on youth mental health.
