Poi, who played center at the ANZ Premiership 2019, debuted with the Silver Ferns against England in January and his training at Tactix put him in the running for the World Cup team.

Poi, who has been a key member of the New Zealand under-21 team who won the Netball Junior World Cup in 2017, has already been part of the Silver Ferns development team and was a member of the world champion, Fast5 Ferns, last October. .

Tactix coach Marianne Delaney-Hoshek said it was an exciting opportunity for the dynamic midcourter to confront the Australian style week after week.
"Kimiora is an exceptional athlete with the speed and skills to compete with the best," she said. She is still very young, so it's a chance to continue her development in a different environment.
