This is done in Dunedin and what a roller coaster. The Highlanders made a good comeback in the second half and Naholo led it. Superb game of the winger. They will want to work hard on their hands after too many mistakes tonight, but they will be more focused on where they will go tomorrow because there is still a lot to do. Regardless, Mauger's men did the job without the big names and that's what mattered this week.

REB THREE! The rebels withdrew for a draw of all things and use a penalty at the last minute to give themselves that chance. Strange call.

HIG TRY IT! No doubt this time. The pick-and-go work consisting of the fronts gets the job done as Franklin makes his way into the post pole to score. This should be the nail in the coffin.

HIG NO TRIALS! Chaotic couple of minutes. Walden scores in the left corner and the referee credits him. But the TMO intervenes and says that the last pass was transmitted to him so it is refused. Instead, the Highlanders are coming back for the advantage that they won after Ruru made a header that seemed cardeable. However, he is ignored, so the Highlanders kick and get an alignment at 10m from the Rebels line.

The rebels are trying to recompose and keep the ball for 13 phases but they see the space at left. However, Naholo does a great job and gets the business figure. The ball can not go out and the Highlanders have a scrum. 15m from their line. Great moment in the game defensively.

HIG TRY! Another stunner of the Highlanders. The rebels are clear and McKay gets it on his 22m. The steps inside the hunters and he left for the races. Go from his 22m to 22m rebels before he's removed. But the Highlanders smell the blood and relentlessly hit the line of Rebels until Pleasants-Tate sees a hole, stings and goes away and is finished. What a few minutes.

HIG TRY! LI STEAMROLLS SA TRACK IN! Superb show of force on the left wing at 8m from the finish. Shake one before hitting two others, keeping the legs pumping and rolling to his left to bring the ball down to the corner. Sopoaga adds the extras of the sideline. Game on!

REB TRY! Hodge marks under the posts after recovering another charge. Ioane scored the ball inside his 22-meter after the rebels got stuck, but it took too long to align his clearance. Hodge introduces himself, loads him, recovers and marks under the posts.

Ruru surprises the Highlanders by a descent of the blind. Grubbers one through the Highlanders 22m and Ioane recovers him. The rebels are quick to reach it but are penalized for having entered the fray badly.

Yikes. Another handling error blows the Highlanders' chance of attack. They go down the blinds, but Hemmington's pass hits Sopoaga's face and it's a hit. The rebels rush to the same place.

Hemopo gets another big business figure. Envelops her vis-à-vis with a monster paraphernalia and supports him. Gets help and it's called a maul. The ball does not come out, so the whistle goes and it's a scrum Highlanders just inside half Rebels. Hemopo has a surprise attack tonight.

Sopoaga puts us back on the road.

Topsy-turvy 40 first in the books. The Highlanders have been their biggest enemies so far. Unusual handling errors and Walden's questioning saw them coughing three times. In case of attack, they spend a classic evening at the office. We said that the pre-game Naholo needed to lead and he had a stellar first half. Can he give them more of the same to win the victory in the second half? We will be back soon to answer that.

HIG TRY! It's a beauty! The Highlanders are working left when they get to the inside of the 22m. They return to Sopoaga in the midfield and he floats a kick to Naholo on the right wing. Naholo gathers, returns the infield to Lentjes, Lentjes gives it to Walden and he is in the right corner. What a beauty. The conversion of Sopoaga is out of the good post

HIG TRY! Walden sells a huge mannequin to his right and he is in the backfield. It's a face-to-face, but Hammington supports it. Draw and go to his down and Hammington runs 15 to score under the post. Super try.

The rebels find themselves stranded in their 22m so Maddux gets up to erase it. Find and touch the Highlanders an alignment just inside half of the Rebels.

HIG TRY! The Highlanders end up doing some magic and Naholo is there. Massive counterattack by Hemopo leads to a turnover on the 22m Highlanders and they have numbers on the right. Shoot and pass until Naholo is in the space on the right wing with 60m of free field in front of him – no one touches him on the corner path.

Another shot in the middle of the field stops the Highlanders' attack on the lineup. The rebels turn him into a counterattack on the left wing and Naholo makes an attempt at interception while attempting to save his 22m. Get caught in touch. The alignment of the rebels is approaching

REB YELLOW! Sopoaga takes a step to his right at the exit of the fray while Ruru flew to attack him. Ruru misinterpreted Sopoaga's pace and stepped outside to stumble upon him. Ref goes up the stairs to confirm that he looks deliberate and gets it for Ruru to pause for 10 minutes. The Highlanders use the penalty to find contact within half of the Rebels.

Li is a great success and the Rebels are trying to recover. They recycle it, but hit it in the process. The Highlanders rise to 35m

And the Rebels continue to press. Jump to a high kick after the kick off and Sopoaga can not bring it in. Strike and give the Rebels a scrum just inside half of the Highlanders.

REB TRY! The rebels find numbers on the left wing and they are finished with Hodge in the corner.

The Highlanders lose the ball from the top and the Rebels catch them with a crane. The Highlanders recover, but the back line is not defined, so the ball is sent to Frizell. He does not seem to wait and hits him. Rebels argue for 35m. The Highlanders already have four handling mistakes today against the Rebels.

The Highlanders are working a good piece of play behind the bottom line and this places Li in space at the left wing. He throws himself into the Rebels 22m before being eliminated, Naholo recycles quickly but gets tackled. The rebels turn it around and push it to the touch. The Highlanders line is just inside half of the rebels

The rebels deserve a halfway penalty while the Highlanders are offside again. It does not work for them but in the tackling that ensues, the ball is lost. Highlanders mingle, just inside their half.

REB TRY! The risk is paying off. The simple command of maul and Rebels is in it.
