A man shot. Another found dead in his living room. And a third body found floating in a popular bathing place.
The suspicious deaths of three Waikato men over the last two weeks have resulted in three homicide investigations.
Armed police have closed neighborhoods in the suburbs of Hamilton to negotiate with people of interest in relation to serious crimes.

And the Eagle Police helicopter was used to search the residential streets of a vehicle that we thought was linked to another of the deaths.
Then, late on Friday night, someone lit a fire inside a house where three people were shot dead – one deadly.
As speculation and rumors about deaths spread throughout the community, police remain discreet about suspects or possible motives for individual murders.

Mitchell Curtis' last death Rehua Paterson – a local of Ngāruawāhia whose body was found in the water at McLaren Falls, near Tauranga – drove police into a house in downtown Hamilton .
The investigation led to the arrest of three men, all of whom were remanded in custody, police confirmed Monday night.
A 27-year-old man was accused of being an accomplice after the murder. A 49-year-old man was charged with bringing a firearm to police and illegally detaining a firearm. And a 33-year-old has been charged with violation release conditions.

An examination of the scene is underway in a Hamilton property.
Police stood guard in front of a white villa in Pukete residential area Monday after the arrest of three men during a raid on the armed police the night before.
He followed an earlier search for a property at Mill Lane during the weekend.

Armed guards were posted townhouse at Mill Lane, Whitiora, which the detectives were searching the house.
Patterson's Facebook page shows connections to several gangs and includes the video of the Greasy Dogs motorcycle club.
A friend posted that Paterson was "always a good guy for me, always had crack moments".
Sonny Rutene stated that he was speechless at Paterson's death.
"I only spoke to you last week, I knew something was hanging up because you normally did a message on a Thursday or a Friday morning, you were not answering your phone."
"You were a good guy … you're always here It's hard to know that the last time I saw you was the last time."

Marfell, 20, stays at Waikato Hospital after being operated on from a gunshot wound.
Another 17-year-old man was shot in the head, over the eyes and body.
A fourth person was at home at that time and was not injured.

The police did not reveal any details about who they believe is behind the shooting or whether there are potential links between the shootings and Paterson's death.
Meanwhile, investigations into the suspicious death of a man from Huntly Wayne Noda continue.
The 48-year-old man was found dead in the living area of his Berrymans Access Road home, behind the Huntly Power powerhouse on June 30.
He died of injuries inflicted during an assault.
Detective Sergeant Ross Patterson said Monday that police were still searching for a 2001 Nissan Skyline, registered KAM195, following his death.
A Eagle Police helicopter flew over areas over Dinsdale on Monday. .
