Daniel Ricciardo said the strong performance of Red Bull Racing in the back of the 2018 Formula 1 season was "confusing".
Team manager Christian Horner described the Mexican Grand Prix as "probably the only shot we have to make under normal circumstances" in the last six races of the year.

Verstappen finished the season with five consecutive podiums, while Ricciardo had only three places in fourth place in the same period, having failed in his "cursed" RB14 when he was second in Mexico.
