Southwest Airlines apologized after a woman claimed that a policeman was making fun of the name of her five-year-old daughter, Abcde.
Traci Redford was preparing to take a flight out of John Wayne Airport, in Orange County, El Paso, Texas, reports the KABC television network in Los Angeles.
"The door officer started making fun of my child's name, laughing, showing me, showing my daughter and me, and talking to other employees," said Redford. at KABC.
"Then I turned around and just said," Hey, I can hear, if I can hear, my daughter too, I would appreciate it if you wanted to just stop it. "

Southwest Airlines followed up with the employee involved, but did not specify what steps had been taken.
Redford said the agent had also taken a photo of the boarding pass bearing his daughter's name, pronounced "ab-city", and posted it on social media, said the report.
Southwest Airlines said that she had since followed up with the employee involved, but that she had not revealed any action taken.
"We offer our sincere apologies to the family," said the airline in its statement. "We are very proud to extend our Southwest hospitality to all our customers, which involves respecting the golden rule and treating each person with respect, in person or online."
A search on the Social Security Administration's website revealed that "Abcde" was not among the 1,000 most popular names in years of birth since 2000.
