The Waikato-BOP Magic travels to Auckland tonight for the ANZ Premiership meet against the Northern Stars with a new rookie on board.
Lisa Mather will join the team for the remainder of this year's campaign, filling the void left by the injury of striker Sydney Fraser at the end of the season.
The Northlander, a Hilary Fellow from Waikato University, has been coaching with the team since the beginning of the season and now occupies full place in the team.
