Sydney cafe ridiculed for $ 18 sandwich

The Reddit user, MiloXF, has uploaded a photo of the sandwich ordered by their cousin, showing a completely deconstructed meal served in two cardboard boxes.

Instead of being presented with a regular sandwich, the customer is seen presenting all the ingredients and should prepare it himself.

On one side, there were two slices of bread and butter, while on the other side there was ham and various salad items.

The meal was completed by a bowl of mustard and a gherkin.

Not only did they have to assemble the sandwich themselves, but the deconstructed meal cost them $ 17 ($ 18 NZ).

It is not known what coffee the sandwich was ordered, but Reddit users quickly expressed disbelief at the meal.

"If I had wanted to make a sandwich myself, I would have stayed at home and I have done it," said a user.

Another asked: "Did he order it from Ikea?"

Other users were more concerned about the salad ingredients.

Although the poster does not indicate which coffee meal was coming from, some users have suggested that it may have been purchased at Bread & Circus in Alexandria, which describes itself as a "canteen" complete products ".

On their lunch menu, they offer a "smoked ham sandwich box without preservatives" for $ 17.
