The soap of a Dunedin hotel helps keep Ghana clean

Unused soap from a Dunedin hotel was found in Ghana as part of a comprehensive soap program.

Scenic Hotel Group has so far sent a soap palette to a rebreather in Australia for profit organization, Soap Aid.

Scenic joined the system at the end of last year and is being rolled out across the chain of 18 hotels. The charity collects and treats hotel waste, redirecting them from Australian and New Zealand landfills to communities around the world without access to adequate sanitation facilities.
