Thrashlords Slayer and Anthrax announce two concerts in New Zealand

The legendary American thrash masters, Slayer, have announced that their last world tour will take place in New Zealand, bringing an Anthrax box.

The bands will perform two concerts in New Zealand, Auckland and Christchurch in March.

Slayer, of Huntingdon Park, California, is best known for his third studio album, Reign in the blood, considered one of the heaviest and most brutal examples of group style.

Anthrax, of New York, has recorded more than 11 studio albums, but is best known for Bring the noise, that they recorded with the band Public Enemy Rap in 1991.

The bands play two concerts in New Zealand: Friday, March 15 at the Eventfinda Stadium in Auckland and Sunday, March 17 at the Horncastle Arena in Christchurch.

Tickets, which will be on sale from 19.00 on Wednesday 5 December, will be available from Eventfinda (Auckland) and Ticketek (Christchurch).
