As they did this year, they will ride the Triple Huit Holden VF Commodores built in the team's Banyo workshop.

Triple Eight has already run three times in second place in the Supercars, winning the series in 2011 with Andrew Thompson, finishing second with Scott Pye in 2012 and running with Casey Stoner in his only season in 2013.

Next year, it will be the first time that she will use multiple cars in Super2, and comes after the efforts of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship have been reduced to two cars with the withdrawal of Craig Lowndes from the race to full-time.

"As a group, we really enjoyed driving a car in the Development Series a few years ago," said Team Director Mark Dutton.

"Getting good results in Super2 at the time meant just as much to the guys and girls on the team as it did to TeamVodafone or Red Bull Racing Australia cars.

"Roland (Dane, Team Owner) has talked a lot about Triple Eight's succession plans in recent years and it's very important to find the right drivers to keep the team going, especially since Jamie (Whincup) is now thinking about his future. future and when he could hang up the helmet to play a bigger role in managing the team.

"It's not just about drivers. We have the opportunity to nurture young engineers and mechanics and help them make the transition to take on more responsibility in the main game without throwing them completely to the bottom.

"On top of all that, running with two cars in Super2 allows us to maintain manpower levels that otherwise would have had to be reduced if only running in the main game with two cars, not three. We have a great group of people here at Triple Eight and we wanted to do everything in our power to keep everyone together. "

As stated his cousin and teammate Brodie Kostecki in 2018 in Newcastle, Kurt Kostecki will move from operating the Kostecki Brothers Racing family to Triple Eight, where he worked as a mechanic until mid -year.

Having already held evaluation days with the team and participated in the first trials of the ZB Commodore, the 20-year-old is eager to bet on a 2018 season that has been his best Super2 season to date.

Kostecki finished season eight as he did in 2017, but took a podium for the first time.

"I could not be more excited for next year," he said.

"This is a great opportunity for me and I look forward to trying to get the most out of it and learn from the best team in the industry.

"I already did an evaluation day with Triple Eight and I was very comfortable in that environment because I've known everyone for a few years now, so I hope it will translate into as soon as we arrive in Adelaide next year.

"I will take next year, but we are aiming for the highest possible.

"I think that there will be no excuses for me next year. I have the best team to do it behind me, so we aim for the top and we'll see what we can do. "

Grove, who also earns miles in New Zealand with the V8 BNT this summer, is taking the plunge after a tough year in Super2.

"The Triple Eight is obviously the benchmark of Australian motorsport. It will be great to join them and use their resources. They do things right, so I'm really excited for next year and see what we can achieve.

"I do not have major goals, I think it's always good to try to improve when you're on the field, so being in the top 10 would be Well and that 's obviously the goal, but from then on, anything can happen, so I will just try to be consistent and continue to learn.

The new season starts on the Adelaide Superloop support card from February 28th to March 3rd.
