Riding the wave of SUVs, Swedish luxury car maker Volvo Car India has won more than 200 bookings for its recently launched XC40 compact luxury SUV
within 15 days launch.

Launched at an aggressive price of Rs 39.9 lakhs at Rs 43.9 lakhs (ex-showroom), Volvo expects the SUV to play a key role in the development of the car. reaching a double digit market share by 2020.

Volvo Cars recorded the best first half with a 33% volume growth in January-June 2018 compared to last year. The strong commercial performance of 1242 units is driven by the XC60, which contributed 25% of the total volume.
